April 2022 is Second Chance Month!

We believe that everyone has dignity and potential and deserves a second chance.  Former incarceration and involvement in the criminal legal system should not stop anyone from having equal access to opportunities that can stabilize and improve their lives.  Our collective efforts continue to make our communities safer and healthier by reducing crime, recidivism, and reforming the justice and carceral system that foster disparate treatment to disadvantaged communities.  Our participation directly contributes to our vision of "Embracing our culture of E Ho`okanaka, persons of worth, we as Hawai`i fulfill our promise of equity and inclusion to all who are justice involved, through pathways of health, healing and aloha."
