COVID-19 Reentry & Recovery Housing - Men (Short-Term Program; Ended In December 2020)
The COVID-19 Reentry & Recovery Housing at the old Hilo Hotel on Waianuenue Avenue across the street from Kalakaua Park (9 beds) accepted men 18+ years who were released from incarceration during the COVID-19 pandemic. This emergency housing was a project of the CARES Act response in late 2020. Since the program ended in December 2020, clients have been transitioned to other GHH residences or other appropriate housing.
